The Minor Embedded Systems is aimed at students from FHICT, that are in the final phase of their study. Furthermore, they take an interest into the workings of embedded systems, how signals from the world around us can be measured and used in applications, and how real-world signals can be generated by these applications. This Minor focuses specifically on this translation from real-world signals to data that can be used in applications, and vice versa, the translation from application data to signals that can be used in the real world.
The most obvious attendants for this minor are students that already follow the Technology profile within FHICT. But besides that, this minor explicitly invites students from other profiles to attend this minor.
The research projects of this minor are based on real life problems from our Partners in Innovation and from the lectorates. You will work on one of these research projects, and on a project of your own.
A final note on the admission and outflow profiles: while they are based on students with a Technology background, they are somewhat loosened for students from other profiles.
